K and Q Cosmetics is a proudly South African skincare brand founded by a mother-and-daughter duo from the heart of Springbok, a small but vibrant town in the Northern Cape. Inspired by the natural beauty and strength of our community, we set out to create skincare that is honest, effective, and affordable for everyday people.

Hi, I'm Ivana Johannissen — the CEO and founder of K and Q Cosmetics.

Starting this brand was deeply personal to me. I’ve always believed that everyone deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, without having to spend a fortune. I saw a need for skincare that’s honest, effective, and affordable, and that’s exactly what inspired me to create K and Q Cosmetics.

With an Honours Degree in Environmental and Water Science, I’ve always been passionate about understanding what we put on and into our bodies. That knowledge shapes the way I formulate each product - with care, safety, and skin health at the core. Our range is paraben-free, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free, because I care about what goes on your skin — and what stays out of it.
